 We are just a little more than a week away from Thanksgiving and I can tell you that we are all in the mood to celebrate it this year ! Here are little things to help you with it . San Diego county will be mandating everyone to wear a face covering of some sort while going out , whenever you will be within 6 feet from someone outside from your household . This new directive will start on May 1st , and it might very well soon be the same in other counties and states . It is already mandatory for all business employees working with the public , like grocery stores clerks , gas station attendants , etc. , but it will now require everyone else to do the same in the hope it will help slow down the spread of the virus . They are plenty of videos of how to make your own face masks with whatever you have at home . Some require sewing , other don't . I've tried the one with the bandana and hair ties , but it doesn't fit snugly (there is a small gap on each side ). I also tried simply tying a scarf , but my straight hair is slippery , and the scarf end up sliding off very quickly , which once again defeat the purpose . If you're having the same problem ,

Celebrating and Honoring Women Around The World : March was Women History Month . But it is not the only time we should honor and celebrate women in our community . It is time to recognize women for all the jobs they do all year long . It is time for equal pay and stopping stereotype . Here is a new design we created a few months ago . It was inspired by fall and its pretty colorful leaves falling from the trees . Living in Southern California , we don't have much of a fall foliage to look at , but I remember it from my time in Switzerland and in New Jersey . Here is a basic vector drawing of three oak leaves : one yellow , one orange and one green . We created products with  them as they are and we also created a pattern . You can now find them on a wide range of items both ranging from bedding , wall art , table tops , office supplies , doormat and so much more . They are perfect to help you decorate your home for the fall season . September is apple picking season , or at least it is in San Diego county . It is one of the favorite fall activities in the area . Julian , a charming little mountain town has a few orchard farms where they allow you to go pick your own fruits . But one should not wait too long , because apple picking season can be very short depending on their crop . Anyway , I love to go there with my family . I cherish any time I have with them and enjoy the time spend away from my computer  , and cell phone ! It is a really nice way to celebrate the beginning of the fall season . And of course they bake delicious apple pies ! If you visit Julian , you can NOT leave without trying one of their famous apple pies ! They're the best I've ever eaten . Needless to say that nature is very inspiring ...and I got inspired for a couple of new apple designs .
